My French patio doors are in good condition. I would like to replace only the grids. Is that possible?

Q. I have the 12-pane grid and I would like no grid actually-just a trim around the glass. I can't seem to find any replacement grids. Do they exist?

A. It would be a shame to replace the grids, good french doors are expensive and you would end up with blah doors. Perhaps you can find a carpenter willing to replace them for you.
